Xiaomi to launch Mi Max 2 in India today
Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is all set to launch its Mi Max 2 phablet in India today. The company has scheduled a launch event in New Delhi, set to begin at 11.30 AM. Users can also view the livestream on Mi.com, the company's official website.
Successor to last year's Mi Max, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a metal unibody design and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phablet comes with a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. It has rounded edges and antenna bands that run along the bottom and top. A 3.5mm audio jack and speaker are placed at the bottom.
In terms of specifications, the Mi Max 2 has a 6.44-inch Full HD display of 1080x1920 pixel resolution. It comes with Android 7.0 Nougat OS, topped with the company's MIUI 8 skin layer. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM.
